Blizzard over Harlem | 20"x27"

This large watercolor painting looks across East Harlem after the mid-February 2026 blizzard. From above, the snow settles across the rooftops of the apartment buildings, creating a quiet pattern that lends itself well to watercolor. Whenever possible, I leave the white of the paper untouched to capture the snow. The overcast sky allowed for broad wet-into-wet washes, which helped set the mood of the day. All is quiet when the snow falls.

Taino towers is on your left, with 2nd Ave stretching through the distance. The vantage point is from 110th and 1st.

Ships in a tube with insurance. A white trim is left for matting and framing.
