About the Artist

I’m a watercolor artist based in New York, drawn to the everyday scenes and quiet, often overlooked, moments that shape city life. My inspiration comes from the 24-hour laundromat, neighborhood fruit stands, and local bartenders—people and places that share the city’s story in subtle ways. Since I began working in watercolor in 2015, I’ve found it to be the perfect medium for capturing these moments. Watercolor is spontaneous, luminous, and inherently exciting.

Plein air painting, both locally in New York and and the places I visit, is central to my process. It provides authenticity to my work, grounding it in the moment and carrying that energy back to my studio work. I aim to capture moments that highlight common shared experiences. To me, working en plein air is integral to creating work that feels genuine and alive.
