I paint the infrastructure of mundane daily life: laundromats at midnight, fruit trucks on the corner, quiet meals, bartenders, cooks, and the streets of New York as they are.
I paint outdoors whenever possible. Working on location gives the paintings a freshness that carries back into the studio. Painting en plein air is integral for creating art that feels alive.
